How do lab and imaging orders work?

GoldCare doesn't run its own labs. If you and your prescribing provider decide you need tests, they'll create an order you can take to a lab or imaging center of your choice. Steps 1. During your visit, your provider decides with you which labs or imaging you need. Only prescribers (MDs, DOs, NPs, PAs) can order them. 2. After the visit, once your provider finalizes your documents, you'll get a notification. 3. Go to Appointments, click the visit, and download the lab or imaging order from the Appointment Details page. 4. Take the order to a lab or imaging center near you. You pay the lab directly, or use your own insurance there if you want. 5. When you get your results, send them to GoldCare so your provider can review them. See How do I upload my lab results? Trouble? - Can't download the order? Contact us and we'll email it to you. - The lab says it can't run the test as written? Message us with what the lab told you, and we'll ask your provider to update the order. - To review results with your provider, book a follow-up visit.

Where can I find my visit notes, prescriptions and medical records?

On your appointment details page Go to Appointments, choose the Past tab and click a visit. You'll find: - Summary: your visit summary, once your provider has finalized the visit - Intake form: what you shared before the visit - Documents your prescriber created, such as lab or imaging orders, to download See Your appointment details page The Summary appears after your provider finalizes the visit, which can take a little time after the appointment. Need a copy of your notes or records? If you can't find something, send us a message in Messages or email [email protected]. We'll get your chart notes (or any addendum) from your provider and send them to you. Have records or lab results from elsewhere? Email them to [email protected] and we'll upload them to your chart.
