No, the GoldCare Health & Wellness membership is not insurance. It's a membership that gives you direct access to independent clinicians and health education.

Can I keep my insurance or Medicare?

Yes. GoldCare works alongside private insurance, employer insurance, Medicare, or no insurance at all. Many members use GoldCare for unrushed visits and second opinions and keep their existing coverage for everything else.

Does GoldCare bill my insurance or Medicare?

No. GoldCare is self-pay. It does not accept insurance, can't be billed to Medicare or Medicaid, and does not process claims. You're free to seek reimbursement yourself:

  • After a visit, the diagnosis (ICD-10) codes are available in your medical record.
  • You can request an itemized receipt (superbill), and you can pay with an HSA or FSA card (eligibility is between you and your plan). See HSA/FSA and receipts
  • GoldCare is not involved in any communication with your insurance company.

Prescriptions and labs

Your GoldCare provider can send prescriptions to the pharmacy you choose, including one that accepts your prescription insurance. Labs and imaging are done at outside facilities, where you can use your own coverage if you want.
