GoldCare operates as a Private Membership Association (PMA). The PMA is a written agreement between everyone involved with GoldCare: member-patients, clinicians and staff. It sets out shared expectations and a code of conduct so we can work together with clear, agreed-upon standards.

GoldCare is HIPAA compliant and operates under the rules of its Private Membership Association (PMA). See Privacy and your data

Who signs it

  • You sign the PMA agreement when you create your account.
  • Every family member 18 or older on a family plan must sign it too. You can resend it to them from Settings > Family Members.

You confirm it each time you book

At checkout you tick "I've read and accepted the Appointment & PMA confirmation". It says:

"I confirm this appointment is being scheduled for myself, and that only individuals covered under the Private Membership Agreement (PMA) will participate in this consultation and I agree that If I violate this policy my appointment will be canceled and I will be charged the full amount."

What this means for you:

What the agreement says, in short

  • You're joining a private association. GoldCare Health & Wellness is a faith-based private membership association. You join voluntarily, pay a membership fee (monthly or yearly) and use tokens for services.
  • Who provides your care. Prescribers, Advisors and Coaches aren't GoldCare employees; they provide services through GoldCare Doctors, PC, and every medical decision is theirs.
  • Advisors and Coaches are educational. They don't diagnose, order labs or imaging, or prescribe. For those, book a Prescriber. See Prescriber, Advisor or Coach?
  • Talk to providers through the platform. Contact with providers outside GoldCare isn't permitted.
  • Everything is confidential. Don't share recordings or video of a visit without written consent.
  • Medicare. GoldCare doesn't participate in Medicare. Visits are private-pay and shouldn't be submitted to Medicare.
  • Refunds. Services already provided aren't refundable. Any refund of membership fees is at GoldCare's discretion. See Refund policy
  • Disagreements. Disputes are handled privately instead of in court: 1) contact Member Services, 2) if it isn't resolved, email [email protected], 3) if needed, the case is referred to Relational Wisdom 360 (RW360.org) for a final decision.

Where to find your copy

A signed copy of your agreement is kept in your online portal. If you can't find it or would like another copy, message Member Services (click your name, top right → Messages) or email [email protected].

Family members on your plan receive an email to sign the PMA themselves.
