Prescribing providers can only see patients in states where they are licensed. GoldCare shows you the prescribers available for the address on your account.
If the list looks short or empty
- Check that your address is correct: click your name (top right) → User Settings → Personal Information.
- Go to Home → New Appointment, click the Prescriber tab and choose Primary & Acute Care to see the prescribers licensed for your state.
- Advisors and coaches aren't limited by state.
Seeing a "Possible Location Issue" notice? It appears when you seem to be signing in from outside the state on your account. It's there to keep care within medical licensing laws, and it may limit which prescribers you can book. Click Got it to continue.
If you still don't see a prescriber, contact us. We'll tell you which Primary Care providers are licensed in your state.
Moving or traveling?
You can use GoldCare from any U.S. state. If you need a prescription, you'll see a Primary Care provider licensed in the state you're in at the time of the visit.
- Update your address under User Settings → Personal Information to where you'll be during the appointment. You'll then see the prescribers licensed there.
- Update your pharmacy too, so prescriptions go somewhere you can pick them up.
- Pay attention to the time zone shown when you book.
My usual provider isn't showing
They may not be licensed in the state on your account, or they may no longer be with GoldCare. You can choose another provider in the same category. They can review your history, and your records stay in your account.
