Yes. GoldCare has two kinds of mental health support, both by video visit from the app. Members ask for this as counseling, therapy, behavioral health, emotional support, or help with anxiety, depression, stress, grief, sleep or burnout.
Mental Health Advisors
Guidance, education and support for a wide range of mental and emotional health concerns, from licensed nurse practitioners and other mental health professionals. Advisor visits are guidance only: no prescriptions, labs or referrals.
- Who: Mental Health Advisors (for example nurse practitioners specialised in psychiatric mental health, and a naturopathic doctor)
- Cost: shown at checkout; typically 19 tokens for 45 minutes ($190) or 25 tokens for 60 minutes ($250), depending on the advisor
- Where: available to members in every state (advisors aren't limited by your state)
Psychiatric Medicine (prescriber)
A comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis and medication management for psychiatric concerns, with a prescriber who can prescribe and order labs.
- Who: medical doctors under Prescriber → Psychiatric Medicine
- Cost: typically 15 tokens for 30 minutes ($150)
- Where: prescribers are shown based on the state on your account, so the list depends on where you live
How to book
- Log in at app.goldcare.com and click New Appointment on Home.
- Choose Advisor → Mental Health Advisors for guidance and support, or Prescriber → Psychiatric Medicine for evaluation and medication.
