# Is GoldCare+ legal?

Of course.

Healthcare cost sharing ministries have been legal entities in the USA since the 1980s' and legal throughout Obamacare (although he tried desperately to change that.) In fact, in reaction to the ACA, healthcare cost sharing ministries exploded in popularity. In 2017, President Trump voided the IRS enforcement of ACA, which is also helpful.
