If I am a caretaker for a member, do I need to sign up for GoldCare?

Yes, as a caretaker, you must sign up for GoldCare under a family plan. This is required because, as the caretaker, you will manage all medical information, appointments, and interactions with providers for the care receiver. To ensure proper access, legal protection, and direct access to the care receiver’s account, both you and the care receiver must be part of our PMA (Private Membership Association). Here's how to sign up:

  1. Sign up: Register yourself with your email and phone number to receive communications for the care receiver.

  2. Choose the family plan: Select the family plan to ensure both you and the care receiver are included in our PMA and that you have direct access to their account.

  3. Add the care receiver: After registering, add the care receiver to your family plan by selecting "care receiver" from the "relation" dropdown.

  4. Complete the process: Ensure the sign-up process is complete before scheduling any appointments for the care receiver.
