How do I get a "Vaccine/Shot Exemption Letter"?
No member will receive a shot exemption letter immediately upon joining GoldCare. That violates the letter and the spirit of our Private Membership Agreement. GoldCare is a family-friendly platform to establish long-term relationships between patients and providers. In general the pre-existing relationship will be one year with GoldCare prior to requesting/receiving a vaccine exemption letter. A provider who believes a member should be considered for such a letter prior to the one-year duration, can bring that situation to the Clinical Director. Providers are encouraged not to bring such exemption requests prior to a person already having been a member for six months (and at least one two clinical visits). All members must be informed that prior to such a letter even being considered prior to one year, a member must sign up for a nonrefundable full year from the time of the request. In addition, no supportive measures, validation, or communication will an outside entity will occur if the member is not a current or active with GoldCare.
