When you book, GoldCare sorts providers into three groups. Here's how to pick the right one.

## Prescribers

Licensed medical providers who **can prescribe, order labs and imaging, and refer** you to an in-person doctor. Specialties:

- **Primary & Acute Care**: acute illness, chronic conditions, prevention and urgent concerns
- **Psychiatric Medicine**: mental-health assessment and medication management
- **Pediatric Medicine**: infants, children and teens
- **Weight Management Consultants**: weight loss and metabolism

## Advisors

Experts who give **guidance and recommendations only**. Before the list, you'll see this notice: **"Advisory Consultation Only"**. Advisors **can't** write prescriptions, order labs or imaging, or make referrals. For those, book a Prescriber.

Specialties include **Medical Advisors**, **Specialist Advisors**, **Cancer Care**, **Long COVID & Vax Injury**, **Naturopathic and Chiropractic**, **Weight Management**, **Mental Health**, **Children's Health**, **Sports & Injury**, **Stem Cells Introduction** and **VIP Specialist**. Advisors aren't limited by your state.

## Coaches

Hands-on support between medical visits:

- **Registered Nurse Wellness Coaching**
- **Nutrition & Lifestyle**
- **Physical Therapy**
- **Spiritual & Pastoral Care**

## How to choose in the app

1. On **Home**, click **New Appointment**.
2. Use the tabs **Prescriber · Advisor · Coach** at the top of **Step 1 of 4** to filter the specialties.
